Editors! Have a look at this. Exactly the same story, two different editors:
Editor # 1
"I have had a look at your 'XXX' and 'YYYY', and unfortunately I will not be able to publish either. 'YYYY' - As I said in my previous email, I have received been inundated with stories from Namibia and I just don't have the space to accommodate more than half a dozen. Although there are some great images, your copy is not particularly interesting. One's own travel memories are often less riveting to others."
Editor # 2
"I love this piece. I think we can use [YYYY] as is. Will forward it onto my editor for placement in our October issue. If you have any other articles and pitches, please let me know. J"
